Inter-Island Ferries Connecting the Three Dōzen Islands
Inter-island ferries are a convenient way to explore the Dōzen Islands—Nishinoshima, Nakanoshima, and Chiburijima—recognized as part of a UNESCO Global Geopark. The Isokaze and Ferry Dōzen operate frequently from early morning (around 7 a.m.) to late evening (around 9 p.m.), with 2 to 4 departures per hour. Fares are just 300 yen per ride, making it easy to hop between islands just like taking a local bus.
