How do I make a booking for accommodation or a travel package?

How can I make a reservation for dinner?
We have a dedicated reservation website for Entô Dining. (Reservations must be made by the day before your visit.)

Please note that seating is limited, so we recommend making your reservation as early as possible. If Entô Dining is fully booked, please check the next FAQ, "Are there any restaurants nearby?" for dining options within the island.
Are there any restaurants nearby?
There are several restaurants about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
It is strongly recommend to make a reservation in advance as there are only a few restaurants on the island.
Please use this website for more information. There are some restaurants where credit card is not accepted, so please carry cash with you.
How can I make a reservation for breakfast?
Please inform us via this form.
The reservation should be made by the day before check-in.
If you have already requested breakfast when making your accommodation reservation, there is no need to make a separate reservation through the above form.
If you have any food allergies, please let us know when making your reservation.
What is your cancellation policy?
When does a cancellation fee apply?
Will there be a penalty I need to pay if my mode of transportation is cancelled or delayed, and I cannot get to your island to stay?
Cancellation charges will be calculated as follows: -
◇ 15 days before the date of stay – free
◇ 8 – 14 days before the date of stay – 20%
◇ 2 – 7 days before the date of stay – 50%
◇ 1 day before/on the day/no show – 100%
If you have booked a travel package, then the relevant cancellation fees as stated in the package plan will apply. Please check the booking page for more details regarding this. In the case of bad weather and your flight or ferry is cancelled, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 15:00. Check-out time is 10:00 for guests staying in the main building BASE and 11:00 for guests staying in the annex building NEST.
What kind of activities can I do there?
There are many things you can do here such as nature activities in the mountains or at sea, and cultural activities where you learn about the life and history of the people in the Oki Islands.

How can I explore the Dōzen area (Nishinoshima, Chiburijima)?
The islands in the Dōzen area are connected by "Naikō-sen" (Inter-Island) Ferries, making it possible to explore each island on a day trip from Ama Town, where Entô is located. For more information about the Naikō-sen ferries,please visit this website .
One of the ferries, called "Dōzen," can also transport vehicles.

For getting around on each island, options include rental cars, rental bicycles (e-bikes), and sightseeing taxis. For more details on transportation options on each island, please check the Oki Islands Travel website.

Please note that the number of rental vehicles and other transport options is limited, so we recommend making reservations as early as possible.
Is there a rental car company on the island?
There are rental cars on Nishinoshima Island and Chiburijima Island only. Please use this website for more information about the companies in Nishinoshima. You can rent a car in Nishinoshima and put it on Ferry Dōzen (Car Ferry) and bring it across to Nakanoshima Island.
Do you have a carpark? How much is the parking fee?
There is a free parking area in front of the hotel. Please use this during your stay.
How can I get to your hotel?
There are three ways to get to Ama Town – Oki-Kisen Line Ferry (Kuniga, Shirashima, Oki), Oki Kisen Fast Ferry (Rainbow Jet) or Japan Airlines (JAC Plane). Even by plane, you will still need to take a ferry from Saigō Port in Okinoshima Town (Dōgo) to Hishiura Port in Ama Town (Dōzen). It is a long journey, but once you reach Hishiura Port, Entô is only a three-minute walk from the terminal.

Can I leave my luggage before check-in?
We can hold your luggage for you in our storage area (no charge).
This can be dropped off from 7:00 on the morning of your stay. This can be dropped off after your stay and needs to be picked up by 22:00 of the same day. You can also leave your luggage at the Ama Town Tourism Association office, located inside the Hishiura Port terminal building. (Opening Hours 7:30 – 19:00, changes depending on the seasons)
Do you have a special accommodation rate for children?
Young people who are at elementary school or younger are classed as children. Those in junior high school or senior high school are classed as adults. We do not charge any room fee for a child. There will only be a charge for food and drink.
How can I pay for my accommodation?
You can pay for your room when you make a booking using your credit card, or when you check-out at the end of your stay – cash, credit card or electronic money.
Do you accept luggage sent using a delivery service?
Yes, it is.
Please send your luggage by pre-pay delivery to our hotel. Please include your full name, date of stay and contact details on the despatch docket.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, we do.
It is free for all guests to use.
Will my room be cleaned every day during my stay?
We would like our guests to relax in their rooms during the day, so we will only clean the rooms of guests who stay for two or more nights on request.
Can I smoke in the building?
The entire hotel is a non-smoking zone. If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking area.
Can I come and go anytime in a day?
Yes, you can.
The front door is locked at 22:00 once the front desk closes, but guests will have a card key that will allow them to come and go 24 hours a day.
Is there a public bath?
There are two small hot spring baths on the first floor of the main building, BASE. They are available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
Do you have room service?
Sorry, we do not, but we do offer a Bar Time service from 15:00 to 17:30 / 19:00 to 22:00 which you can enjoy drinks and snacks in your room.
Do you have a laundry service?
There is a coin laundry in the communal area of the 1st floor of the main building. We do not have a specialist dry-cleaning service.
Can I stay here with my pet?
We are sorry, but pets are not allowed in the hotel. We do not have any rooms where guests and pets can stay together.
Is there any cafe nearby?
You can enjoy meals and a cafe from 11:00 to 16:00 at the restaurant Central-tei on the 2nd floor of Hishiura Port, a 3-minute walk from Entô.
There is also another cafe called Kura within walking distance.
