Tour &
Activity
Entô is borderless.
The Earth, born 4.6 billion years ago, and the Oki Archipelago, born 660 million years ago. Humans crossed to the Japanese archipelago 30,000 years ago, and Oki became a place of exile 1,000 years ago. In 2013, Oki was designated as UNESCO Global Geopark, and now it exists as a place where you can connect to the Earth through the Oki Islands. Take a trip to Oki and experience the timeless essence of the earth. We are all part of the Earth, and Entô has noboundaries between inside and outside. Gaze out your window to see the islands before you and the vast sea beyond. Step outside and immerse yourself in nature, take a stroll through the town, and rediscover yourself at Geopark. This is an invaluable Entô experience that can't be replicated.
Entô Activity
Explore the beauty of the island by taking a gentle satoyama footpath or a low mountain trek. Get up close to the sea with underwater observation ships, sea scooters, and pack rafts. Tour through the town and mountains with an e-bike, and discover the island's way of life. Unveil the intriguing story of the island's unique nature that can't be captured with just a glance.
